Mandatory nature of the general conditions

The present general conditions, available with permanent character under, will bind any reusing agent by the mere fact of making use of the documents submitted to them.

Applicable license

Data sets offered on are published under the terms of the Creative Commons licence (CC-BY 4.0).

Content published on the portal as news or content is released under a Creative Commons - Attribution (CC-BY 4.0) free culture license. All graphic contents such as images, icons and logos are excluded.

General conditions for reuse

In accordance with article 8 of Law 37/2007, the reuse of the information contained in the data sets is subject to the following general conditions:

  • that the content of the information is not altered.
  • that the meaning of the information is not distorted.
  • that the source is mentioned.
  • that the date of the last update is mentioned.

The portal may provide links to external pages over which it has no control, and for which the CTB declines all responsibility, and the user of this website must, in any case, abide by the specific conditions of use of said links.

These general conditions allow the reuse of the documents submitted to them for commercial and non-commercial purposes. in accordance with the provisions of Law 37/2007, of 16 November, on the reuse of state public sector information, by natural or legal persons, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, provided that such use does not constitute a public administrative activity.

Furthermore, the CTB reserves the right to publish data sets under other specific conditions of reuse, such as the possibility of generating the payment of economic considerations, in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of Law 37/2007, in order to cover the costs associated with the collection, production, reproduction and dissemination of the data sets.

Guarantee and liability for data sets / Exclusion of liability

The use of the data sets will be carried out by the users or agents of the reuse at their own risk, corresponding exclusively to them to respond before third parties for damages that could derive from it. CTB will not be responsible for the use made of its information by the reusing agents, nor for any damages suffered or economic losses that, directly or indirectly, produce or may produce economic, material or data damages caused by the use of the reused information.

Despite the efforts made to adequately manage the data sets, the Biscay Transport Consortium, operators and administrations offer the available data sets as they appear in their files and cannot ensure the integrity, updating, accuracy or continuous access to these data sets, and do not offer any guarantee in this respect. CTB does not guarantee the continuity in the availability of the reusable documents, either in terms of content or form, nor does it assume responsibility for any error or omission contained therein. CTB may at any time add, delete or modify the published data sets or these conditions of use.

The license to use the information contained in all datasets is derived from the legal information prescribed in this portal.

The reusing agent is subject to Law 37/2007, of 16 November, on the reuse of public sector information, especially its sanctioning regime, as well as to all regulations affecting the use of information, such as Regulation EU 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, and other concordant regulations on data protection as well as Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of 12 April, approving the rewritten text of the Intellectual Property Law.

It is not permitted to reuse any set of data for illicit purposes or that violate the principles of persons, entities or public administrative action.
